Cost Optimization

The total costs of a portfolio of 12,000 apartments were analyzed before the takeover by RSG. Of the total costs amounting to 50 million euros, about 30 million euros were passed on to the tenants.

By implementing measures such as

• Reducing maintenance costs
• Re-tendering utility and service contracts
• Renting out buildings with high vacancy rates
• Closing buildings whose operation was uneconomical

the costs were reduced to 43 million euros, and the chargeable portion was increased to around 37 million euros.
